COMMONS ECONOMY GENERATOR #477

I have chosen this topic due to the fact that I share a main opinion throughout this project is based: Our cities are the physical expressions of the political and economical system indifference in which we are living nowadays.

I totally agree with them that we should support those positive iniciatives and contributions, through projects, as they really contribute in a positive way to our environment.
This CEG is able to ease the communication between the common groups in order to exchange information, resources and abilities... And in line with this to establish a close relation between the common groups and the non-common ones in order to these last ones have the opportunity to also benefit.

Is an experiment based  in new forms of organising, living, working, producing and exchanging. These alternative structures based on principles of self-management, direct democracy, self-sufficiency and de-growth, can be considered the transformative cells of a radically new society.

I particularly think that it is a useful tool we use for the urban plan. Nowadays, we talk about compact city as a necessary model in our cities. You will be able to see all the business information, and in this line, you could easily analyse our city’s map.
What is more, the digital platform could be a kind of “cloud” in order to better analyse the city. Taking it into consideration, you will be able to share information through the cloud and observe which part of the city needs support, and consequently, make a project of a specific zone to help it.

To sum up, Commons Economy Generator is the perfect tool to help the city improve, working on different simple projects when necessary. The cloud is really important to connect all the business information about a city and diagnose a particular problem to solve it.

It is a different business strategy but efficient, because of all together best will form the economical and political system of this city.
According to this, we will leave the political system, making ourselves responsible for helping our city increase and improve.

For instance, we can see the architect namely Richard Rogers, who analyse the different parts of the city and who propose a theoretical solution just to improve cities. He encodes specific data population, such as borders.

We can see through this analysis, that the urban weft is composed of multiple elements. The relationship between them and their features determine the environment quality. “When the different elements of a set work somehow together we call this a system”. At this point, we need to study the position of some of these elements, achieving a global picture of the place.

In this way, the analysis proposes the specific parts of the territory to achieve a sustainable urbanism and, in so, improve the existent cities. Similarly, Commons Economy Generator develops an urban model which is able to unify the city’s economy through sharing information thanks to this useful tool.
